It means the past keeps repeating itself, which is the truth.

How does this connect to the Wave?

People getting sucked into being characters they’re not because of power is a recurring theme in history and is one of the main themes in the Wave.

American History Connection:

World War II, a small political party in Germany was given power, got more and more, and went mad trying to engulf the rest of the world.

Have you ever been forced to something against your will?

Yes, i’ve been forced to join swimming lessons against my will.

How should we behave if we see someone being taunted or bullied by a group of people?

It depends on the person and the situation. we shouldn’t join in, usually, but we shouldn’t necessarily help them either. In most cases we should try to help the person being taunted/bullied.

Should we try not to get involved or should we intervene?

Again, it depends on the situation and the people. If it was a friend of mine I would probably try to intervene unless the bullies were three times my size (which is usually the case) in which I would run and get help.

My Goal for this blog is to have a place to dump ideas that I always have but have nowhere to write down. Also as a school tool to post my assignments and stuff.

Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Ok um… where to start… Take Hitler as a perfect example: he got i little bit of power Germany then became corrupt and wanted more power but as he got more he bacame more and more corrupted until he got completely owned and took his own life. it’s a classic story that repeats itself indefininately: Give someone power and they go bad, give them more and they go worse.

This video ties into our laborart project and also the movie that Mr.R showed us in journalism class about how the "developed world" really doesn't want the "developing world" to develop at all. This shows the United States mooching off other countries while they claim to be helping them.

We talked about how rescources will go down as population rises and discussed possible solutions.

I learned that I should consider everyone equal instead of saying “Let’s kiil everyone in jail to decrease the surplus population”.

I daydreamed about the extinction of the human race when the world would be so overpopulated and have so little rescources left that humankind would die out.

I wanted to say that i thought human kind would have to do something about the population like bann children but instead i suggested moving to another planet.
